A little bit about me.
MSc Kinesiology graduate, physiotherapist, karateka and mother of two who went through postnatal recovery herself. I help women return to fitness after childbirth — safely, sustainably and around the realities of motherhood.
My name is Mihaela Petrovic — MSc Kinesiology graduate and BSc Physiotherapist from Croatia.
I specialise in postnatal workout programs, pelvic floor rehabilitation and helping women return to strength alongside all the challenges of motherhood. In particular, I focus on women who feel lost in their own body after childbirth.
Being through pregnancy and childbirth myself I know first-hand what you are going through. Additionally, I know what works, what is safe and what fits into a real life with a baby.
1997
Started training karate, the sport that shaped me physically and mentally.
2009
First appearance representing Croatia in international karate competition.
2011
Enrolled at the Faculty of Kinesiology — deepening my understanding of movement, training and physiology.
2016
5th place at the World Karate Championships and Category 1 Athlete classification by the Croatian Olympic Committee
2017 – 2018
Enrolled in physiotherapy studies. Retired from competitive karate in 2018.
2020
Birth of my first son. Experienced back pain, loss of identity,
scoliosis diagnosis and degenerative changes.
Completed specialist training in prenatal and postnatal exercise.
Applied everything to my own recovery — and recovered fully.
Began working with pregnant women and new mothers
2024
Birth of my second son. Pregnancy and recovery were pain-free.
Today I help women return to fitness while navigating the demands of motherhood. I keep myself in shape by running and doing strength training.

“Two pregnancies, two births in just under a year and a half. I would walk past the mirror and see my back hunching more and more, my shoulders dropping, and I knew it was time to do something. I did not want to do it alone, so my friend and I reached out to Mihaela together. We needed someone to guide us, show us the exercises and give us a sense of commitment to actually show up. With a husband, two kids, a packed schedule, nursery, illness and work, I had been putting myself last. I am happy to say that after three months of training, I see results not just in the mirror but in myself. As a result, I am braver, more confident and stronger.
Training brought better eating habits along with it, and a focus on gaining weight, because I had lost quite a bit after giving birth and was unhappy with how my clothes hung on me. The most important thing was clicking with Mihaela, which turned out to be easy. She is open, explains exercises and common mistakes brilliantly, and encourages and motivates in exactly the right way. I thought I would continue on my own after a month or two, but after my friend and I did one session without her, we quickly realised we were not executing the exercises correctly and we did not have the same drive and energy as when we train with her. I never thought I would say this, but I actually miss my training sessions when I skip one. All thanks to one brilliant trainer.”
